John Dorazio Appointed Managing Director of Walker Wayland, Chartered Accountants (Perth)

Walker Wayland, Chartered Accountants is proud to announce the appointment of John Dorazio as Managing Director.

John takes the reins from Joe Lamhut who is stepping down after 15 years of leadership at the firm. John joined the firm 15 years ago and was appointed a Director in 2007.

He said he plans to drive innovation and growth within the firm. "I want to focus on the firm's values and to provide continued stability during this exciting and challenging time for the accounting and advisory profession".

John is a quality reviewer for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), a role in which he reviews and assists other Chartered Accountants to ensure they have appropriate quality standards in place within their own practices. He will remain as leader of Walker Wayland WA’s audit division.

Walker Wayland WA is an active member of the international accounting and financial services network Walker Wayland Australasia (WWA). Joe was a founding member of the WWA network and John was chairman of the network for three years from 2014 to the end of 2016.

Outside the firm, John has a passion for community-based programs and for Australian Rules Football. He has been able to combine these interests in his ongoing role as a board member on the Perth Football Club.
