Johanson & Yau Accountancy Corporation is pleased to announce that Partner David R. Davis, CPA, PFS, will succeed Frederick Leonard as President and Managing Partner of the firm, effective July 1, 2012.
During Dave's 30+ years with the firm, he has demonstrated remarkable loyalty and professional growth. For many years now, he has managed the success of the firm's financial services affiliate, JY WealthCare, LLC, as well as its business services practice. He has been a key factor in the firm's success and reputation for excellence. Dave will bring new energy and ideas to lead the firm to its next stages.
Dave joined Johanson & Yau in 1980 and was promoted to partner in 1986. He is a graduate of San Diego State University and a member of the San Jose Rotary Club and the board of directors of San Jose Sports Hall of Fame. He is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
This transition has been in the works for a few years. Fred Leonard's commitment to the firm will not diminish. He will continue to service clients and help Dave in any way he can.
