The partners of Blick Rothenberg have been on the move again. Bob Rothenberg spoke at a seminar of 50 people in Lugano, Switzerland, on the ownership of residential properties in the UK by companies and equivalent entities. This was subsequently written about in the Giornale del Popole, the local paper for the region.
Closer to home, the UK Government’s inward investment agency, UK Trade & Investment, brought substantial numbers of French and German companies to London’s Tech City – a metropolitan version of Silicon Valley. Blick Rothenberg, as a leading inward investment advisor, was naturally invited to speak. Partner Toby Ryland presented on what a company needs to consider when setting up a business in the UK, including tax incentives, such as Research and Development tax relief and general accounting and tax considerations. A good time was had by all.
